About Janimals

Jan Robertshaw Jan Robertshaw originally started her career with animals as a kennel maid with the Bradford RSPCA. Later training as a veterinary nurse with the Thornbury Vet Group, (now Yorkshire Vets), and subsequently as a human nurse at Bradford Royal Infirmary. Jan Holds City and Guilds qualifications (with distinction) in Dog Grooming and was a founder member of the Groomers association. Her voluntary activities with the RSPCA extend to over 20 years as a trustee and is now pround to be the Hon. Vice president of the Bradford Branch.

Key staff members Donna Lunn Donna originally trained as a dog groomer in London, subsequently working in a number of salons in the north before joining Janimals approximately 15 years ago. She has a City and Guilds certificate in Dog Grooming and a certificate in Animal care. Donna lives near Barnsley with her partner and their daughter.

Julie Taylor Julie has been with Janimals for approximately 11 years. She holds City and Guilds in Hair dressing and a certificate in animal care, successfully completing a training course in dog grooming at Salon 2000 in Keighley. Julie lives in Bradford with her partner and two children and breeds Border terriers.

Janimals celebrated its 25 years in business by holding a reunion get together of their previous employees. trainees and associates. The photograph shows just part of the gathering of more than 35 people.
